Asciano signs train deal with GrainCorp

ASCIANO has finalised agreements with GrainCorp for its rail subsidiary Pacific National to contract eight trains to GrainCorp that will service the company’s export haulage requirements in New South Wales and Victoria on a take or pay basis.

Moratorium on new roads would ease emissions: report

EMISSIONS from the production of some biofuels are much higher than the conventional fuels they replace, according to a submission to the Garnaut Climate Change Review from the Public Transport Users Association (PTUS). The non-profit group also suggested a moratorium on new road developments would encourage the use of public transport.
